With the QS5 E switch between Pulse-Echo (Echo-1) for regular measurements and Echo-Echo (Echo-2) for Thru-Paint measurements by simply touching the “Echo” key on the front panel.
Use E-E to measure metal painted metal parts or structures without having to remove the paint and in Pulse-Echo measure uncoated metals as well as plastics, acrylics, ceramics and glass among other materials.
